Client: City of Gold Coast Council
New Ground undertook an ecological assessment and protected plants flora surveys in relation to the Tugun Bilinga Oceanway project on behalf of the City of Gold Coast.
The project entailed ecological surveys pursuant to SC6.7 City Planning policy – Ecological site assessments as well as Protected Plants flora surveys as triggered under the Nature Conservation Act 1992.
New Ground provided a comprehensive overview of the ecological condition of the project area as well as focussed impact mitigation measures to guide detailed development planning and construction.
Environmental planning advice was also provided as part of the works with respect to relevance of potential triggers and approaches for compliance.
