Oracle Building Corporation
New Ground formulated and implemented the environmental planning approvals strategy for this residential sub-division. Our works included landscape level review of the ecological features of the locality as part of the structure planning process, site ecological assessment and individual tree survey works through to preparation of ecological planning documentation to accompany local and state government development applications for the project.
By default, the site attracted an offset obligation of over $500,000. With reference to our field data and in collaboration with regulators and the client, we were able to negotiate an alternative environmental management approach that allowed for the retention of a locally significant corridor while not triggering the above offset obligation and achieving an additional three (3) lots for the client.
