Lui Webber is a senior botanist with over 17 years professional experience. Lui’s areas of expertise include rehabilitation planning, threatened flora identification and management, baseline flora surveys, environmental monitoring, weed mapping and management and carbon accounting. Lui has worked on many major projects including: road infrastructure upgrades (e.g. Cooroy to Curra Bruce Highway Upgrade); resources projects (e.g. the Togara North EIS project (Xstrata Coal)); Threatened Flora Species surveys (e.g. surveys for NSW Department of Environment and Conservation) and; preparation of
regeneration databases for Moreton Bay Regional Council.
Further, Lui has prepared a suite of rehabilitation plans for projects including Linkwater (Southern Regional Water Pipeline), Traverston Crossing Dam Pilot Revegetation Project and the RAAF Amberley Wildlife Management Strategy which included regeneration area selection, species selection and planting design. Lui has also published several scientific papers concerning plant ecology and restoration.
