New Tools and Information for Project Planning in relation to EPBC Act

800 442 NewGround Pty Ltd

The Federal Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE) has released a series of resources intended to inform the community of Australia’s national environmental law (Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act)) and how it applies to land management and development.

The resources are presented on a Stakeholder information page on the DAWE website which presents a Stakeholder information kit and Stakeholder Information video.

The information kit and video contain an overview of what the EPBC Act protects, when it applies and how to get started in deciding whether a project needs to be referred.
