Our client is a large international turnkey contractor in the oil and gas industry. The subject project was a major transmission pipeline project in Queensland which included the construction of an underwater marine crossing of the wetlands between Gladstone and Curtis Island.
New Ground was engaged to provide strategic input into the formulation of a flora salvage management plan for the gas transmission pipeline. The focus of our input was to create a management strategy that aligned with our client’s operational needs while managing environmental compliance, work place health and safety (WHS) and construction program interruption risk.
